Real Struggles of Being TALL!

“Upar mausam kaisa hai?” Someone must have asked you this question at least once. If yes, then welcome to the real life struggles of tall people! 

Being tall has its perks. But it also comes with its own set of struggles. Trust me, you are not alone. 🙁

From being asked to clean ceiling fans to click selfies, the struggles are unique in their own ways. And because of their uniqueness, these struggles of being tall are worth mentioning! 

 

Here are some tall people struggles! 

 

• You are made to clean ceiling fans – 

  
  And it is basically your part time job tbh. Even Vicky Kaushal is not immune to it! 😀

• Also, let’s not forget to change the bulbs/tube light –

       Your mother has allotted you this duty forever. And it makes you feel – *I need to get paid for this now* 

 

• Ankle cut denim fits your calf muscles – 

         Because you are gifted with a longer torso, a normal t-shirt becomes a crop top. And mini skirts become micro mini. And shopping becomes another real struggle for you. 

 

• The hand grips in metro keeps banging your head – 

           Anyone who frequently travels in metro will agree. Because they keep colliding with your head and serve no purpose whatsoever. 

 

• Taller people cannot find shoe sizes easily –

         This is specially true when it comes to taller women. Because most companies make footwear till a certain size.  HENCE, WE  CANNOT FIND THE RIGHT SHOE SIZE. EVER!

 

• You are the selfie stick of the group – 

       If only you had a penny for every time you clicked a selfie for your group. Because then you can gift them a selfie stick and end your struggle. Period.

 

• YOU CANNOT WEAR HEELS! –

       This is sad but true. And tall women will agree to this. Because of your height, you can only window shop them. 🙁

 

• You must be playing Basket Ball? – 

      Just because you are tall, people assume that you must be playing basketball. But sorry to disappoint you, I play volleyball.

 

• Awkard poser – 

       You always end up crouching a little because you have to fit in that damn picture! But instead, you end up looking like this. ↓ 

 

• Your legs need extra space, EVERYWHERE! – 

      Since you are gifted with longer legs, you need extra space everywhere! Therefore, be it airplanes, cinema halls or even your own bed, you adjust.

 

• You barely fit the photographs – 

      You try really hard to adjust by taking various positions. But you know you can’t. So, you end up sacrificing your pretty face. And the picture turns up like this.↓

 

• Hugging becomes a task! –

     If the other person is short, he/she has to make extra ordinary arrangements in order to hug you. And you have to crouch, AGAIN!

 

• Your struggle becomes a meme material. And you give one more reason to the world to smile! 🙂
