All of us have heard at least one of these bizarre ways of life and how following them is important. And if you go out of your way to explain why they are invalid, they go out of their way to explain you why you hate your culture. The One Rupee Shagun For A Happy Life

Almost every ritual has a one rupee coin as a part of shagun. You never give someone hundred, five hundred or a thousand rupees, you give them hundred and one, five hundred and one or one thousand and one rupees, respectively.

Though illogical and sometimes fun, they give out a wrong message. Superstitions give people the right to pass on blame to the universe. Inevitably, they stop taking responsibilities for their actions and then we end up with bigger problems than crossing the same path as a black cat.
