List Of Top 10 Love Songs
Here’s a list of top 10 love songs of all times, be it your conventional romantic, one-sided, or borderline obsessive kind. Links will be attached because we are here to make your lives easier. However, they won’t all be the original renditions of the song. We’ve taken the liberty to add in some highly underappreciated covers, which we think you’d love.
Can’t think of a better way to kick off the list than the song by the King himself:
Can’t Help Falling in Love- Elvis Presley
This one’s a classic. Everyone’s heard it. Even the ones living under a rock. If you haven’t heard it, I don’t know what to tell you except listen to it ASAP.
You’ll find yourself swaying to its lovely melody, smiling, humming, or singing along in no time.
No matter how many times you hear it, this song doesn’t lose its shine.
Perfect- Ed Sheeran
This is more or less a contemporary version of Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. Different melody, same theme. With his soulful voice, Ed Sheeran sings about how perfect his fiancé/lover looks in her dress.
Listening to Sheeran sing the words “I don’t deserve this” while looking at her, as they dance “barefoot on the grass” may make you a little teary-eyed or get you choked up on emotion, but that’s alright. We’ve all been there.
Heather- Conan Gray
Remember what it felt like to be in love in highschool? Young love is hard, isn’t it? Especially when it’s one-sided. This one is straight up the alley of one-sided lovers. This song will unlock all your residual feelings of love, anger, bitterness and jealousy. And not to forget, sweet, sweet pain. Enjoy!
Reckless Love- Cory Asbury
This song falls under the gospel genre. But don’t let that stop you from listening to this absolutely reckless manifestation of empyrean love. The bridge of this song is bound to sweep you off of your feet, and that’s a guarantee. Plug in your earphones and get ready for a surreal experience, tuning in to the “overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God”.
Always Remember Us This Way- Lady Gaga
We all have loved ones who we’ve lost. Just because we’ve lost them doesn’t mean we lose the love we had for them. Their memory lives on in us, and we find a way to carry them along in our existence.
So, whether you’ve lost someone to fatality, natural occurrence or heartbreak, this song will help you hold on to the good memories. And remind you that “a part of you that’s them, will never die.”
Photograph- Ed Sheeran
“Loving can hurt. Loving can hurt sometimes. But it is the only thing that I know…”
“When it gets hard…”
Okay, let’s stop right there.
If we had our way, we’d type out the entire lyrics while jamming along with it.

This masterpiece written by Ed Sheeran, talks about the struggles and hardships that come along with loving someone, encompassed within a long distance relationship.
Heaven- Bryan Adams
Written and composed by Bryan Adams, this beauty of a song will make you want to fall in love and sing this to your soulmate. Or if you haven’t got the voice for it, at least dance to it at your wedding.
Adams sways us with his mellifluous tone, singing about how when he has “her” in his arms, it’s all that he’ll ever want or need and how good and unbelievable it feels, almost as if they were in heaven.
Animal- Neon Trees
Including this in the list, because there are all kinds of love, who are we to judge, yeah?
This one’s a love song too, albeit a bit psychotic, toxic and obsessive, to say the least.
If you do in fact relate to this song, get some help, bud.
Dropping in a link for a very different rendition of this song to really bring out them crazy feels.
Your Song- Elton John
This is an awkward and shy, yet, one of the sweetest declarations of love you’ll ever hear. To give you an example, in one section of the song, the artist forgets what color eyes his lover has. After a while of fumbling and apologizing for it, he goes on to sing “anyway the thing is, what I really mean…yours are the sweetest eyes I’ve ever seen”.
If that doesn’t melt one’s heart, I don’t know what will.
This song reminds us how pure and innocent loving someone can be.
Endless love- Lionel Richie
We began with a classic, so it only makes sense to end it with a classic. Here we have a timeless duet between Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.
Originally released in 1981, this song has quite a notable number of remakes and covers. We think it’s worth the mention that there’s a very short cover of this song by Chandler and Phoebe, from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. You can find Chandler singing along to this song, quite heartbrokenly after being dumped by Janice. And Phoebe being Phoebe, walks in on him and starts singing along. It’s a sad moment, but we all know it works out quite well for him.
On that note, whether you’ve lost a Janice or found a Monica, celebrate your love by listening to this wonderful song.
