With all these enhanced with super cheesy sound effects, mood lights, background dancers still cope to strike us in our feelings. There’s no denial in the 90s our Bollywood cinema was very new to portray intimate love scenes aka sex scenes. Here is some list of movies in which sexual scene from 90s Bollywood was nothing but short of a nightmare.

1.Rekha and Navin Nischol (Aastha, 1987)

From the movie Waffa, the video of Navin Nischol sucking Rekha’s toes will always haunt you at night. Basically in the scenario, Rekha’s husband is away from home on some trip, while she visits “Navin Nischol” with her friend. The highlight of this scene is Rekha and the guy doing it with ‘Jay Jay Nath’ song in the background. Well, of course, after intense clutching of the hands and sucking of toes and fingers she returns her home.

2.Deepa Sahi and Shah Rukh Khan (Maya Memsaab, 1992)

While watching this sex scene for a second I thought Deepa Sahi got possessed by a vampire. Wait I can explain, It had Deepa aggressively scratch Shah Rukh’s bareback and bite his shoulder. The sex was so aggressive that they tore a pillow.

3. Rekha and Akshay Kumar (Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, 1996)

The song In the night no control will scar you for life. It is literally one of the sex scenes from 90s Bollywood that will give you a nightmare. The song begins with Rekha licking Akshay’s blood. There is no denying that they both have zero chemistry which makes it even more uncomfortable for the audience to watch it. Besides the explicit pool scene, they make love in the mud. This song has so many dynamics like- Blindfold, playing in the mud, shower scene, pool scene which is enough to make us cringe.

4. Fardeen Khan and Meghna Kothari (Prem Aggan, 1998)

How to make a guy have sex with you? Don’t worry Meghna Kothari got your back. The guy was swinging on the hammock when Meghna Kothari comes. She compels him to get laid with her with such a jaw-dropping dialogue delivery. After making out for whole minute Fardeen Khan says that they should not have sex before marriage. And the girl reciprocates by saying she was testing him as she was not going to do it anyway. WHAT AN ADORABLE TEST.

5.Akshay Kumar and Mamta Kulkarni (Sabse Bada Khiladi, 1995)

The song Bharo Maang Meri Bharo is so sexually charged that it won’t let you get distracted. The song is full of powerful dance moves, rolling down the stairway and showcasing some professional athletic lifts. Akshay Kumar who was turned out from the start exhibit it in the pool.  How uncomfortable it would be for 90s kid to watch it with their parents.

6.Aishwarya Rai Bachan and Salman khan (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, 1998)

This rom-com drama won many hearts. Everyone loves the chemistry and timing of these three actors. Even tho there’s one scene which made it to be a meme. When Salman finally confess Aishwarya that he loves her and starts kissing her. Our Aish interrupts it by saying- she will get pregnant by making out??

7.Shakti Kapoor and Sapna Sappu (Gunda, 1998)

Basically, Shakti Kapoor plays the character ‘Chutiya” who took a vitamin sex tablet which induces his hormones and Gulshan (another guy) throws his newly wife towards him. What precedes is the most bizarre and eye-gouge scene ever in Indian Cinema. With thunder in the background and aggressive cuddling, kissing he literally kills her. Yes, his orgasm kills her and somehow with all clothes on. I mean it’s kinda far-fetched.

8.Sheeba and Rahul Roy (Pyaar ka Saaya, 1991)

The romance blossoms between these two before their marriage. The writers try to portray this with the art of pottery to spice things up. After random kissing the love transition into pottery and both covering themselves in clay. While the girl was busy making her pot, Rahul Roy paints her face and snuggles next to her. The scene was so charged up that Sheeba clenches the masterpiece she was making and starts running around. It’s quite comical to see such randomness and creativity for an intimate scene.

9.Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar (Keemat, 1998)

In the song “De Diya Dil Piya” you would see the couple dancing around just like always. The song itself has set a new benchmark of intimacy and aggressiveness. In one scene Akshay climbs up the stairs when Raveena shove him down and for directors it was appealing. The bizarreness of the song peaks when right after making the guy trip down, the girl starts to dance across the bridge.

10.Anil Kapoor and Shridevi (Mr India, 1987)

Song “Kate Nahin Kat Te” is a masterpiece and proline to loved by a lot. But it seems a bit lot when Anil Kapoor disappears and Shridevi begin to make love with someone she can not see. Supposedly the viewers can see him in a red torch.

This movie starring Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan has a bizarre love story. When we talk about the intimacy that Hrithik and Kareena shared in the scene is actual epitome of cringe-ness, trust me it will give you a nightmare. In the stunt! Oops! Scene Kareena dances around Hrithik to tempt him and, out of the blue he starts to exhibit his body-building poses for god knows who? Because Kareena is still busy dancing around. And when Hrithik finally turns on the actress starts to run away from the guy and the guy tries to chase her. I mean WHAT A CUTE ORDEAL. To top it all, they do intense hugging over and over again and has this epiphany that they’re in LOVE.
