How To Deal With Recurring Feelings

Our hearts have a huge responsibility. One that our brains cannot handle. Bearing the weight of emotions. Of feelings. Both good and bad without any choice. But what happens when these feelings are recurring. Especially when they are bad. It’s hard to bear with it when we don’t know how to deal with these recurring feelings.

Any past traumatic and stressful event in our lives can negatively impact our brains in ways we don’t understand.

Those emotions, if not dealt with properly at that time, become repressed. Over time whenever you are stressed or in a crisis these emotions resurface. At this point you might be confused, having no idea how to deal with them.

Do you ignore them?

Do you dwell over them?

The answer to both the above questions is no.

Both of these ways have been proven by psychologists to be harmful ways of self management.

What you need to remember first is that you are not alone in this struggle. All of us experience these recurring emotions and some of us have dealt with them in the wrong way.

The question still stays the same, how to deal with these feelings?
