Freddy truly lived this song. He was extremely ill while performing this song but nevertheless that didn’t stop the show from going on.

This was written by lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong with the music composed by the band. In addition to the Grammy Award for the record of the Year, it won the MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year.
