Wake Up Sid (2009)

Wake Up Sid is beautifully picturized over a young boy who lacks ambition in his life. Sid is played by a dashing actor, Ranbir Kapoor, whose love interest is Aisha Banerjee played by Beautiful Konkona Sen Sharma.

Two strangers met on the George Washington Bridge due to their suicidal behaviours, this movie is about their lives. Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra star in the movie as Akash and Kiara.
Kiara and Aakash were willing to die and made a pact to end their lives on 31st December, but life had some other plans for them. The movie contains comedy, adventure and eventually, love.

 

Ekk Deewana Tha (2012)

Sachin fell head over heels for Jessie. It was love at first sight for him.
Sachin confesses his love for Jessie, but she friend-zoned him. Also, Jessie belonged to an orthodox Christian Malayali family who wouldn’t approve of her love relationship with a non-Christian boy.

Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson were the lead roles in the movie. A beautiful movie which will refresh your mind and put a smile on your face.

 

OK Jaanu (2017)

Adi and Tara are new to the Dream City, Mumbai. One day they met by fate. Tara and Adi believed in no strings attached romance until their careers pulled them apart.

Aashiqui 2 (2013)

Hamari Adhuri Kahani (2015)

 

Hamari Aadhuri Kahaani is a story of a married lady, Vasudha played by an amazing actress, Vidya Balan. She met Aarav (Emraan Hashmi), a business tycoon while his visit to his hotel. Aarav is portrayed as a successful businessman but a lonely person inside.

He fell in love with Vasudha and believed to have a happy life with her, but her past became an obstacle of their relationship, after all, not every love story gets a happy ending. Rajkummar Rao also played an important part in the movie, but let it be suspenseful for you.

Warning: The movie can take you and your partner on an emotional ride, so get ready with some tissues to wipe off the tears.

 

Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017)

Bitti is a free-spirited girl who lives her life on her terms. Whereas, her parents want to get her married (especially her mother).
Bitti’s life takes an interesting twist after meeting Chirag Dubey and Pritam Vidrohi.

Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao played the starring roles and they did justice to their characters. Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Bhargava also entertained throughout the film.

 

Jab We Met (2007)

 

A broken and depressed businessman, Aditya Kashyap meets Geet Kaur Dhillon at the railway station and their story begins.
Geet is a feisty Punjabi girl who lives her life happily in her tiny dream world.
They are two opposite kinds of people who find each other. The movie is full of drama, comedy and romance.
It is considered as one of the best rom-coms of Bollywood and a masterpiece by Imtiaz Ali.
Kareena Kapoor (Khan) and Shahid Kapoor are the lead roles and did a splendid job.

 

Socha Na Tha (2005)

Viren and Aditi are set up by their families for an arranged marriage, but they had some other plans. Viren wanted to marry his girlfriend, Karen, who was a Christian.
The chaos between the families created misunderstandings but soon, Aditi and Viren develop a real bond which complicates things.
It was a debut film for Abhay Deol and our favourite director, Imtiaz Ali. Ayesha Takia played the role of Aditi while Apoorva Jha also stars in the film.

 

Kedarnath (2018)

Kedarnath is an interfaith love story of a wealthy brahmin girl, Mukku and a Muslim boy, Mansoor, who is a porter (Pittho). Mukku’s family and her fiance are against the love relationship of Mansoor and Mukku.

The movie is also inspired by the natural disaster of Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand Floods 2013). Kedarnath features Sushant Singh Rajput and the newcomer, Sara Ali Khan. It’s one of the good movies to watch with your partner.

 

Khoobsurat (2014)

 

Mili Chakravarty is a physiotherapist. She was working for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) when she received a challenging job offer from a royal family which changed her life.
Milli is a jolly person who is full of enthusiasms. She met the prince, Vikram Singh Rathore, and their story begins.
The film is full of drama and comedy. Sonam Kapoor and Fawad khan played the major role in the film yet Kirron Kher was a screen stealer. This movie is a delight and will take you and your love on a laughter rollercoaster, it’s a must-watch.

 

Dil Bechara (2020)

It is a Hindi adaptation of the movie “The Fault In Our Stars”, which was based on the novel by John Green.
Also, it is a debut film by Sanjana Sanghi, who played the role of Kizie Basu in the film. Kizie was fighting with cancer when she met Manny who also suffered from Osteosarcoma.
Manny was full of enthusiasm and believed in cherishing every moment of life. They developed a special connection which sparkles their lives.
It is a beautiful movie which gives us a great message: Don’t stop living until you’re dead.
This film holds a special place in the hearts of the audiences (especially the Indian ones), as it is the last time when Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans could see his smile on the big screen but it was released online due to COVID-19. Watch it on Hotstar
