ONE PLUS NORD, A lot of speculations were being made about the new One Plus, there was a different type of hype about the new design & specs and the price, but today it has launched. Like many expected it to be the new flagship phone the company rather took a very different direction this time.
One Plus is known to be the budget-friendly brand since the time of its phone One Plus One. Even back then it was the phone that you could get in a small budget with loads of features which caught the attention of a lot of people. As the time passed they were creeping up to the flagship level, by entering into the premium category as they did with the One Plus 8pro launch. The phone had huge specs and a similarly huge price tag as well.
The phone that has just been launched today i.e the One Plus Nord that although has made a return with the large spec & small budget. Yep, you heard that right. The company was aiming to build a smartphone that can have a good spec in a low budget.
SPECS:
So let’s talk about the features of this phone. The new Nord comes with a new Snapdragon 765 G processor backed by a couple of different RAM option ie 6,8,12 GB. Upfront theirs a flat 6.4 inch 1080 p 90 Hz AMOLED display i.e over 400 pixels per inch with a fingerprint reader under the screen and a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. It comes in two colours Blue Marble and Grey Onyx.
BATTERY:
Powering the phone is a 4115 mah battery and it comes with Warp Charge 30 T charger. It is a fast-charging unit and it gives you a battery percentage of 70% in half-hour which is pretty good for a huge battery. Although there’s no wireless charging and no IP water and dust resistance rating like they gave in One Plus 8 and 8 PRO.
CAMERA:
They haven’t skimped on the camera bracket as well, as the Nord gets a Quad Camera system at the back. Yes, you heard that right, so they have a 48 MP main camera with f/1.75 aperture, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. It has even got a 2 MP macro camera and at last a 5 MP depth sensor. Then there are two selfie cameras, a 32 MP selfie camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide selfie camera.
PRICE:
Now, if we talk about the price of the phone, the phone comes with 3 different specs and hence 3 different prices, Nord range will start at ₹24999 which gives 6 GB ram and 64 GB storage, the mid-spec 8 GB ram and 128 GB at ₹27,999 and the top-spec that comes with 12 GB Ram and 256 GB of storage will cost you ₹29,999. The phone will be available online and at your nearest dealer from 4th August 2020.
Honestly, if we compare it with any other budget phones like the iPhone SE 2. One Plus gives you a better and bigger display and at a cheaper price so we think it’s a steal deal. Let us know what you guys think.
