Well renowned Poet, Urdu Gazal writer and also the real gem of Qat’aa and Rubai. Naresh Kumar Shad paint the beautiful picture of literature and soul striking word plays.
Born in Ahiyapur, Urmar Tanda, a district of Hoshiarpur on 11th December 1927 and died in 1969. Naresh Kumar Shad drew his attention towards the literature wasn’t a sudden action, his father was also the prominent and known Urdu journalist and poet very famous back in those days.
Labhu Ram Josh Malsiyani was his guru, who was the disciple of the great legend Nawab Mirza Daagh Dehalvi.
Inspite of the others, Naresh Kumar Shad gained his popularity before his demise only.
His forte was Qat’aa and Rubai. Above all at the age 22 only, his first poetry collection book namely, Dastak was in the market. After his death Memorial Committee published his biography in the year 1970.
