They don’t judge

Humans are born with the traits to be judgmental. They will judge you for the choices you make in life. But dogs? Not a chance. They will be happy if you choose to become an engineer and equally happy if you instead become an artist. They do not have the trait to judge, unlike humans.

There is a reason why we refer dogs to as DOGTORS. I know, bad joke but it is true. Research has shown that dogs can cure a variety of illnesses. It is a fact that mental and psychological ailments are on a rise. Having a dog as a pet helps reduce them. They are your personal therapist in disguise! So, stop over paying your therapist and get yourself a puppy right away!

They help you maintain that lean body

In the era of netflix and chill, we seldom go out to indulge in sports or workout. Specially when you have friends who prefer to swiggy. You end up hurting your own health. But having a dog solves that too! It is simple. Dogs need regular walks. They get excited and lose their mind. In order to walk them, you also end up burning those few extra calories. It has been proven scientifically that dogs use puppy eyes as a means to manipulate humans. It is a result of so many years of practice. They have a hold over us and over our hearts. No human, I repeat no human can stop falling for them. Whatever be the science behind it, you know they are pure and you are ready to do anything for them.

Dogs are a ray of sunshine. They are beacons of hope. You know that at the end of the day, people might turn their backs on you. But a dog? A dog will always be waiting for you, sitting by the door. He will be there to welcome you back home. When the feeling of worthlessness takes over, he will wag his tail, will drool a little and everything will be alright.

Loyalty runs in their blood

Greed for money and fame can consume even the best of people. As a result of which, betrayal is inevitable. But to a dog, you are his world (also the park, food, his favorite toy and other dog’s butt too). They will always swear their loyalty for you. No matter what weather. A dog will always be by your side.

Let’s be honest, you wouldn’t enjoy a human chasing his tail. Because they don’t have. Duh. But, when a dog does the same, it is an absolute delight to watch him do that. It is the most honest source of entertainment. No human, not even Kanan Gill can provide that sort of entertainment. I promise.
